The Lake House, located on the shores of Canadarago Lake, has been in continuous operation since 1843 and offers lodging in the spirit of the Adirondacks in the era of the great camps for guests coming to the Cooperstown-Richfield Springs area. Our sister property the Baseball Hotel and the adjacent Townhouses harken from the early 20th century with all the modern conveniences while preserving the charm and history of the location.

Our guests know us as a unique place to stay while visiting the area to attend a concert at Ommegang Brewery, visit the Baseball Hall of FameFarmer’s MuseumGlimmerglass Opera or participate in one of the many events in the area. Many families whose children are playing at Dreams Park or All-Star Village chose the Lake House as their base of operation while in our area.

Located on the Historic Cherry Valley Turnpike (Route 20) in Richfield Springs, the Lake House is conveniently located only 15 minutes from Cooperstown, 15 minutes from the Mohawk Valley and 30 minutes from Utica. We are at the midpoint between Albany and Syracuse.about one and one half hours from either major airport.
